What is FamilyReunion?

FamilyReunion® the world's largest family social network™ was originally created in July 1995 in Hollywood, California by award-winning film and television producer, screenwriter, director and web pioneer Craig Richards.

As one of the internet's very first social networks, FamilyReunion provides millions with a rich, family-friendly social media environment where they can connect and interact with family and friends. Many site visitors use FamilyReunion to discover and reconnect with branches of extended their families, in some instances, separated for generations.

FamilyReunion also provides a free searchable Resource Guide containing information, products and services particularly relevant to reunion planners.

Basic access to services on FamilyReunion is completely free while, for a low monthly fee, premium content and enhanced services are available to members who upgrade to Platinum membership.

With principle offices located in Michigan, FamilyReunion llc is administrated by parent company Craig Richards llc.

Accomplished as the Founder and CEO of FamilyReunion, Mr. Richards also formed Dolphin Heart Productions to develop and produce film and television projects; co-founded and served as president of nonprofit Film Oregon Alliance and, as a passionate advocate of the skillful merging of enterprise and art, has served on nonprofit boards since the mid-'70s.

An entertainment veteran for more than 35 years, Craig is often recognized from performances in popular films such as "The Majestic," "Rat Race," "Corky Romano," "The Princess Diaries," "The Flintstones" and for his appearances over the years in series television. In recent years, he and his family live, work and play in America's heartland of Southeast Michigan while he continues work on his internet ventures and serves feature film and series television projects as executive producer, screenwriter and director.

With two brothers and four sisters (and their wives, husbands and kids along with aunts, uncles and cousins), Craig and his family attend and sometimes host their own family's annual reunion, often held during the Christmas holidays.
