40 Current Reunions Panel: How's It Work?

Quite often, we're asked "Hey, why doesn't my reunion announcement show up in that 40 Current Reunions panel at the bottom of the right panel?"

That's a good question and to answer it, let us take a moment to explain how the 40 Current Reunions panel works:

Our system searches through all the current and upcoming reunion announcements in our database, sorts them by date then displays the first 40 in that list.

If your family's reunion announcement does not appear in that list, the reason is likely your event is scheduled for a date that is later than the last one displayed in that panel (number 40). As the date approaches for your family's gathering, a convenient link to your family's announcement is automatically included in the 40 Current Reunions panel on our homepage.

Okay, so how do I find a reunion announcement?

Use the handy search form at the top of any page at FamilyReunion.com to find a reunion announcement, a homepage or a profile for your family members and friends.

Just type in their last name, the town in which they live, etc., and click the "search" button. Any record in our database that matches (or partially matches) your query is returned in a list so you can click on the link that interests you.

How do I add a reunion announcement to my favorites?

Once you find a reunion announcement, profile or member homepage that you'd like to view again in the future, just click the special add to your favorites button at the bottom-right side of that member's page.

How do I view my favorites?

Your favorite people and your favorite resources are at the bottom of the right panel on your Account Summary page that you can go to any time at FamilyReunion.com/?serv=db-accountsummary.cgi. (Naturally, you must be logged in to view your account information.)

From that convenient Favorites section of your Account Summary page, you can simply click on the username of your favorite to go directly to that member's profile. Our member profile pages are loaded with buttons and links to their FamilyReunion.com homepage (if they have one), their reunion announcement and other information they provide!
